A media plan built on real planning logic

Answer a short brief. PRIZM's algorithm drafts a full channel mix based on real media-planning expertise. Tactics, rates, and monthly spend. Edit anything. Defend everything.

Example plan

$240,000

CTV$66,00028%
Paid social$54,00023%
Paid search$48,00020%

Streaming audio$30,00013%

Most media plans start as a copy of last year's spreadsheet, with the numbers bent until they hit the total. Below is one plan built from the brief up, start to finish.

The brief

Start with what the client asked for

The questionnaire covers what a kickoff call covers: budget, flight, markets, audience, objective. For Ridgeline that's a summer push to book more service calls in three metros.

Step 1 of the PRIZM questionnaire: client, campaign name, flight dates, industry, budget and margin.

Flight dates decide which months the budget spreads across.

Margin is entered once. Every vendor minimum is checked against spend net of it.

The logic

A plan you can defend

PRIZM isn't a form that fills in a template. It's an algorithmic planning engine built on real media-planning expertise. Every tactic in PRIZM's library is checked against your brief before it's scored: does the agency have the right creative assets, platform access, and audience data for it to even run? What survives is scored on industry fit, funnel stage, goal, audience, timing, and platform access, then balanced, so the final mix always has real representation across awareness/prospecting, engagement, and conversion.

  1. 01

    Filter

    Can it run?

    • Creative assets
    • Platform access
    • Audience data
  2. 02

    Score

    How well does it fit?

    • Industry fit
    • Funnel stage
    • Goal
    • Audience
    • Timing
    • Platform access
  3. 03

    Balance

    Is every stage covered?

    • Awareness and prospecting
    • Engagement
    • Conversion

You still have the final say on tactic, budget mix, the whole thing.

That's the difference between a plan that looks reasonable and one you can actually defend, line by line, to a client who's asking "why this and not that?"

The draft

Five lines, each with a rate and where it came from

PRIZM picks tactics that fit the objective, pairs each with a vendor, and spreads the money across the five months of the flight.

Example plan, Ridgeline Home Services
ChannelTacticVendorRateRate sourceBudget
CTVProgrammatic CTVThe Trade Desk$32.00 CPMVendor$66,000
Paid socialMeta Advantage+ SocialMeta$8.00 CPMBaseline$54,000
Paid searchGoogle Search, Brand & Non-BrandGoogle$3.50 CPCBaseline$48,000
Digital out-of-homeProgrammatic DOOHStackAdapt$9.50 CPMVendor$42,000
Streaming audioSpotify Streaming AudioSpotify$16.50 CPMOrg$30,000
Total$240,000
  • $66,000 less margin is $52,800 net, clear of The Trade Desk's $25,000 minimum.
  • Your negotiated Spotify rate, entered once for the whole workspace.

Rate source

Rates resolve in order: the baseline card, then the vendor's card, then your negotiated rate. The most specific one wins, and the line keeps a record of which.

Vendor

Vendors are optional at this stage. Plan the channel mix now and assign vendors when the buy is settled.

CTV$66,000

Paid social$54,000

Digital out-of-home$42,000

The edit

Move $20,000 from audio to CTV

Change one line and the plan recalculates around it: monthly spend, delivery, and the minimum checks on both lines. Save it as version 2, and version 1 stays exactly as it was presented.

LineBeforeAfterChange
CTV$66,000$86,000+$20,000
Paid social$54,000$54,000
Paid search$48,000$48,000
Digital out-of-home$42,000$42,000
Streaming audio$30,000$10,000-$20,000
Total$240,000$240,000

Audio drops to $10,000. Net of margin that's $8,000, still above Spotify's $5,000 minimum.

Versions don't count against your monthly plan allowance.

The handoff

A PDF for the client, a CSV for trafficking

The PDF carries pacing, seasonality and channel-mix charts drawn from the plan. The CSV has a row per line, month, audience and market, ready for a trafficking sheet or a pivot table.

Then save it as a template. Ridgeline's fall plan, or the next home services client, starts from this one.

FAQ

Does PRIZM buy the media?

No. PRIZM builds the plan. You buy through your usual partners, working from the PDF and CSV exports.

Where do the rates come from?

Every tactic has a baseline rate. Vendors can carry their own, and your organization can override both with what it has negotiated. Each line uses the most specific rate available.

Can I plan without picking vendors?

Yes. Generate the plan with no vendors, then assign them later from the plan itself.

What happens to a plan after the campaign runs?

It's archived, not deleted, so last year's plan is still there when someone asks about it.

Can my team share a workspace?

Yes. Clients, rates and templates are shared across the workspace. Each tier includes seats, and you can add more.

Is there a free trial?

No. You choose a tier and enter payment at signup. The price is shown before you confirm.
